(Goshen, Indiana ) Sue Gillenwater of Eagle Rock, Missouri, claims she never had “much luck.” However, Sue’s luck changed for the better in a big way this week when she was named the winner of a new Hornet travel trailer in Keystone RV Company’s Live Your Dreams national sweepstakes promotion. “When I entered the Keystone sweepstakes on-line I never expected to win. I’ve never won anything before,” said Sue, when notified of her good fortune. “This is hard to believe. I’m thankful…this really makes my day. You can’t imagine!”
Sue and her husband Wayne are Air Force vets who now plan to “live their dream.” Says Sue, “We camped with our children when they were young, graduating from tents to pop-up campers. But as the children grew and job responsibilities tied us down, we no longer had the opportunity to take off and travel. We really missed RVing and were looking forward to enjoying it again, someday; winning this new Keystone Hornet means that someday is now.”
Keystone RV Company President Bob Martin credits the Live Your Dreams promotion for driving increased traffic to the Keystone web site and generating additional excitement about Keystone products. According to Martin, “Our dealers are taking advantage of strong consumer interest in Keystone products to reach out to more prospective customers.” Martin added, “Our web site traffic is reaching new highs while we see a strong upturn in retail sales.”
The Keystone Live Your Dreams RV sweepstakes promotion reaches more than five million current and prospective RV owners each month through RV web sites, trade magazines, and retail show promotions. In addition to the Hornet, three additional Keystone RVs will be given away in the coming months with the final prize, a Keystone Montana Mountaineer, awarded in March 2011. Thank You Keystone RV Company from the bottom of our hearts. WOW, still can’t believe it. Yes we will “Live our Dream.” Thanks again and God Bless.
Don’t forget to enter, you can win.
We are looking to live our dream in eather a Montana or a Alpine. We just took a look at the Alpine and it looks great. Our dream is to go full time this fall.
Ken & Lindy
Montana and Alpine are both great coaches, especially for full timing.
I am a traveling pipeliner and I live in a camper full time. I was not smart enough to buy one of your right off the bat; it came to mind very quickly when I found the trailer parks full of them when I got to my first park. The camper that I am in is pretty small and yours seems to have the best floorplans that I have seen yet. Maybe one day I will have my Keystone camper just like I dream about. Thank you.
I’ve been tring to find a dealership here in Missouri that has a large inventory of the Montana 5-wheel on hand. Do you think that you might be able to inform me where there it is located at, I’m here in Indepence, Mo for a short time before my wife and I start to travel the USA again. Thank you for you help (there in one Montana 5-wheel in Grain Valley, Mo and it’s a 09 model.
William Decker
Mr. Decker, the Montana line has experienced a significant increase in sales this spring and coupled with the delivery driver shortage means that it is harder to find many Montana’s on dealers lots. I am putting your message into the hands of the Montana factory rep so that he can look at the inventory that’s on dealers’ lots and give you an update.
I’d love to be the winner of that Montana RV. I’v entered every contest you’ve had and never ever been a winner, nor have I see a winner from NYS. We have an 2002 travel trailer but that brand new 5th wheel would be MY dream come true. I hope some day I’m the winner.
Barbara
Keystone will be giving away 3 more RVs by contest end, March 2011. The next is the popular, ultra lite Passport. The winner will be announced in July during The Rally in Louisville. Good Luck!
We have been looking at the Outback and the Passport. Hope to visit the grandkids and more!!
Both Outback and Passport are excellent products. Visiting the grandkids is a great excuse to own an RV.
Just bought a used Keystone Springdale, it is beautiful. Can’t wait to go camping!!
I plan on living in my RV. That way no matter where I go I will always be home.
ive been trying to win hope i can win the next one…good luck to all
I Love All the Keystone products, I think they are a great company.
Congratulations to Sue and Wayne. We have had 2 Keystone 5th wheels. A Challenger and an Everest. They were great!
We have just viewed a Copper Canyon 5th wheeler and fell in love! Now, we are trying to shuffle our finances to own it!!! Our dream is to start traveling the U.S.A. all winters. Our two boys have married american girls, have families – one lives in Utah, the other in Georgia-so you can see there’s lots of miles between them. The 27 foot model will make life extremely comfortable.such a spacious and attractive floorplan!!!!
Sounds like you have a lot of fun and travels ahead of you. Best of luck.
This our second raptor 5th wheel. We love the convenience and the Holiday Inn feeling of camping with our 361LEV. Each year Raptor makes a better trailer by listening to their customers and designers.
I’ve been hanging out in the Keystone website for the last year and a half dreaming of someday owning my own camper. As a woman Scoutmaster I have fallen in love with camping and get to tent camp once a month with my scouts but would love for my husband to go with me but he won’t go without a hotel room or a camper.
Congrats to Sue and Wayne and Thank you Keystone for making such a beautiful product! Hopefully I can own one some day soon.
Just looking to start RVing with our children, love the Keystone Cougar 5th wheel.
Congratulations Sue & Wayne!! How exciting for both of you. Hope you gets lots of use and enjoyment from your new trailer.
I think the Springdale 5th wheel is a great little home and the little extras are just what is needed. Everything is in the right place.
I would love to have a new one.
I day dream constantly about Keystone floor plans and other travel trailers even though I can never own one since I spent much of my own life up caring for my parents as they aged so they would not have to go into bad nursing homes on their low budget.
Dad’s fading and Mom is already gone now, and since I was unable to work since 1976 for “choosing” to care for them, now at 51 years old myself, travel trailering day dreams are all I have. It does seem that old saying holds true, “Nice guys & girls do indeed finish last”, it seems. I may have forgone having my own dreams but I was a good daughter at least and having time with my parents was priceless.
I love to browser floor plans and models and even second hand lists online and I especially love to live through all the wonderful and amazing happy stories that current travelers post.
Thanks for being online and adding to my day dreams! Blessings to you all.
I just saw your ad in Good Sam magazine and entered your contest last year for the Montana. We have had a Rockwood Pop Up and I just can’t “climb” into the bed anymore nor even attempt to make it during the day!!!! The Passport ultra light or Keystone Hornet has the exact floor plan we have been looking for but can never find. Would love to be the winner of the next one you give away. We used to have an Apeco a long time ago and it was the perfect layout but moved because of employment opportunity and sold it. Have missed it ever since!
We love the new 400 toy hauler and would love to make it our retirement home. The room that is in it is outstanding. And could give you many hours of enjoyment with friends and family. The garage would hold both our bikes and be a great way to travel!
Our family has been in love with your Outback 21r that extends the queen bed out one end. We are a family of 3 who have camped from tent to the last few years in a pop-up. (shh were getting older and the ground don’t sleep as good as it used too) We camp at a great place called Albert Pike, Arkansas and we always pull our pop-up next to the big boys and last summer a couple had just bought a Outback 21r and we just went crazy over it. They were so nice to show us the ends and out of the camper. It had been ordered with no kitchen, except for the freezer/fridge with a great counter top. It was so nice, because rain, sleet or snow we love to cook and eat outside. So we have been looking for the past year for a camper that we could afford and every time we almost buy one that is not an outback, we say “Let’s just keeping saving a little more money for a good used outback” So it is summer again and were off camping for the summer in our pop-up until a Keystone Outback comes along! God bless all the workers of the Keystone company, for many years come!
Congrats to Wayne and Sue! My wife and I have been looking at the Raptor. I’m gone all summer with the helicopters fighting fire and I would love for her to be able to visit from time to time. Good luck to all!
We just purchased a 2010 Copper Canyon Sprinter 5th wheel.we are enjoying her very much. This will be our summer home.we live in Newfoundland, Canada.congrats to the winners.I have never won anything in my life.it would be a shock if i did.best of luck to everyone.
I’ll be retiring very shortly and look forward to seeing the US in an RV with my hubby. We love to travel and see new places. My goal is to visit all 49 land locked states, Canada and Mexico until I find the ultimate retirement location.
Wow I just toured a couple of your travel trailers and they are beautiful. I live in 108 Mile Ranch, British Columbia. We are going to tour Canada this summer, coast to coast in our camper with our dog Sheba. Should be fun. We hope to spend a big part of the late winter in the States. Somewhere with no ice and snow.
I fell in love with your trailers, maybe when we get back from our summer we might try to sell our camper and buy a trailer. Good luck to everyone that entered. I would love to win one of your trailers.
Go Rving!
I hope you are having a great time in your new RV. It sure must be wonderful to win a new KEYSTONE and live your dream of vacationing in it.
I only hope that I may be able to do so one day myself, ya’ll have fun and enjoy ! !
Congratulations! You are surely blessed. I pray we will be able to get a travel trailer this summer so we can enjoy the many beautiful places there are to see.
My wife and I purchased a 2011 Keystone Laredo in April of this year. That’s the awesome part of this story, the bad part is we have to wait until the dealer gets it in which they are saying not until the end of July. We still have our old trailer (1994 Nomad) and we have plans to go camping July 1st but we keep wishing that the next time the phone rings it will be the dealer saying your new trailer is in and you can take it for your trip on July 1st. Nothing wrong with dreaming right?
We looked at several camp trailers and fell in love with the 24 ft. Bullet.
[Editor's Note: Bullet is one of Keystone RV's newest campers. You can see photos and read more about the Bullet and Bullet Premier at click here. Videos of the Bullet will be coming soon.]
This is such an AMAZING thing Keystone is doing! Our family started Project Night-Light, a non-profit that focuses on Children of extreme child abuse. As we get ready to expand to 5 more states, we decided we need a home away from home for our 4 children. Loving the quad bunk models Keystone is providing! But if we could win one instead, WOW would that help save our small non-profit money! Here’s praying that Keystone helps us “Live Our Dream” in more ways then one!!!
[ Editor: Good Luck. If other RVNewsChannel rearders are interested in learning more about Project Night-Light visit: http://www.ndnightlight.org ]
Our friends just bought a new 30ft Springdale. It only took one look. Ours is on order,we’ll get it in a week. Can’t wait. The style, layout, quality, and price couldn’t be beat.
Can’t wait to see who the next winner will be! Very exciting! My family had a Keystone ordered last year, but for job situations turning bad we had to cancel the order. Keystone helped us out and gave us back our deposit, which normally anyone else would keep. My family loves to camp, and we live in the mountains of Colorado. The camper we have now needs work and not much $ to fix it! It would be a blessing to win a new Keystone! Good luck everyone!!! The Shooks
My husband and I have just married for the second time. I have always loved to camp (coming from a country/farming background) and my husband has gotten the fever since my parents are always camping and inviting us along. We never end up staying because it is a bit crowded. It would be so nice to have something that we could start over together with as an “ours item” instead of his/her/ours thing that we have going on right now. We have tried to purchase second hand campers but every time we are interested in one it is sold before we can discuss it (trying not to impulsive buy). Although we would really love to win such an wonderful and exciting gift, if we do not then we will keep on looking and good luck to the couple who does and God Bless.
Sincerely,
The Petersons
Wow! Congraulations . I am a single divorced mom, and my plans are to get a travel trailor to live in. I am alone an have no home of my own. The Lord has placed a calling on my life, and I feel like traveling across the USA to tell people about Jesus and his love. I have been blessed in the passed to do this, but now I have no means. I don’t know where to go in Ohio to enter a contest. If there are any more give-aways, I would love to enter. God Bless you Keystone Rvs for doing such a wonderful thing.
Sincerely, Lisa Collins-Hamilton
[Editor's note: There are three more Keystone RV's to be given away. You can enter to win at http://www.keystonervgiveaway.com ]
I have been camping for 40 years now, my children grew up camping. My 2nd husband didn’t camp and suddenly got the fever because of my friends. I had a motorhome that we bought 1 year before he died. He really enjoyed it and I am grateful he had the chance. I lost my husband 5 years ago and now want to become a full timer with a camper. All my friends still camp and I need to be with people that are friendly and caring.
After getting “shanked” when we purchased our first used travel trailer, my wife says that our next TT will be new and a Keystone, just like my boss’s.
It has always been a dream of mine to own a camper. My fondest memories of a child are camping with my parents in a pop up camper. We had so much fun! I will always have those memories. Maybe one day I will be able to purchase one and share those same memories with my children and grandchildren.
Editor’s Note: The next Keystone winner of a Passport travel trailer will be selected Saturday July 24 and announced during The Rally in Louisville, KY. Good luck to all who have entered. Keystone will also be giving away a Sprinter and a Montana Mountaineer in the months ahead so you have more chances to win. You can enter the Keystone Live Your Dreams Sweepstakes at: Keystone RV GiveAway
Congrats to the winners!
just kidding.. actually, I’m just praying that He knows who to bless with it, and that His Glory will come from it.
I’m claiming that Montana in Jesus name!
We feel God is calling us to shed our possessions and go spread His love around to those out there , and we will go where He leads. We aren’t sure when I’m sure in the next year or two.. it’s in His hands but we are preparing now.
Life is too short, and He is coming soon! Keep us in your prayers everyone that God will open the doors for us, and that it is in His perfect timing!
Praying peace & love to all those posted on here who have been hurting , and in need.
Even if you or I don’t win , God will provide what we need. Give your cares to Him, He cares for you.
Many blessings over this company for being a blessing to others.
We currently own a cougar RV 28.6, have been living in it for the past 5 summers, this time taking it all the way to Alaska and back. It has been a wonderful RV for our needs. Would love to upgrade to a Montana, but are retired and watch our spending, hopefully it wont be long and we can just do that. We love traveling the country and seeing this beautiful land of ours.
Congratulations to the winners of the RV , hope you have as much fun as we have had in ours.
Love our outback trailer, going with grand kids ,11 of them, but not all at one time ,Pulls very well on hwy. and hills ,so far no trouble with unit.
Editor’s Note: Now that’s what I call “family camping”. Sounds like fun and great memories for the kids!
It’s only a few days until the giveaway of the passport! I have looked at the floor plans of the Passports and they are gorgeous.I would love to win with either one of them.My husband is retired, our children are grown, we now have time to spend with our grandchildren and we all love to fishing and go camping,(just to old to do the tent camping anymore).
