prove to me that your 5th wheel is the best.
This is a reply from the Alpine sales staff:
Dear Mr. Boyer,
Thanks for your comment on RVNewsChannel.com about the Keystone Alpine. My name is Dustin Jelinski and I am from Keystone RV’s Alpine/Avalanche division.
In your comment “prove to me that your 5th wheel is the best” there are a number of different features the new Alpine has that we feel puts it above other high-profile fifth wheels on the market today.
To start Alpine is using a 12” I-beam frame and 7,000lb axles standard on every floorplan. Alpine’s 6 layer “Bedrock Floor System” is fully laminated and extremely well insulated (R-40) which helps eliminate soft spots in the floor. The Alpine’s Whisper Air system makes heating and cooling the Alpine not only quick and efficient but extremely quiet. This system comes standard with a heat pump letting the Alpine produce heat electrically and is fully programmable. With the 2nd AC you have the ability to have dual zone temperature control as well. All Alpine’s have glazed grand cherry hardwood door, stiles and fascia’s which really give it that “rich” look. Plus the use of real hardwood as opposed to particle or pressed wood means that the cabinets will wear better over many years of on-road pounding and shaking. Even small items like incredible 175 cubic feet of pass-through storage, standard king bed, standard convection microwave, standard stackable washer/dryer prep, standard cedar lined closet, standard keyless entry system, standard motion light, standard Thermashield 37 holding tank insulation, standard auto-threshold lighting standard Samsung HD TV and Samsung 1000watt surround sound system with subwoofer are some of the reason’s why we call the Alpine “The Next Generation Fifth Wheel”. These are just a few of the features the Alpine has that take it to the next level and some that you wont find in other brands, and these aren’t all of them!
Feel free to reply with any questions you may have.
Thanks again.

Why do some video’s/pictures show the fireplace with the faux stone verses some without, but when you look at the options, nothing is listed other than “fireplace”. I like the faux stone look.
Thank you,
Kathy

In response to your comment about the faux stone fireplace in the 3495FL Alpine. We are continually trying to improve every aspect of the Alpine/Avalanche products and this is the latest improvement. I am glad to hear you like the new stone look, we do too.
Best,
